My journey with jewellery wasn't meticulously planned, but rather a captivating serendipity. Walking into a workshop for the first time, I was mesmerized by the transformation unfolding before me. From a simple sketch, a piece of art began to take shape. Witnessing the blend of meticulous craftsmanship, scientific knowledge (like alloying metals for strength), and artistic flair to create a wearable masterpiece – it ignited a lifelong passion in me.

Global Education, Local Ambition

My thirst for knowledge didn't stop at the boundaries of India. I actively sought opportunities to learn jewellery manufacturing in renowned centers like USA, Germany and Thailand. Immersing myself in the intricate techniques of these regions broadened my understanding of the craft. This global perspective then led me to explore the business side of jewellery, learning the nuances of wholesale and retail in both the US and Indian markets. Living and working in these diverse environments not only expanded my personal horizons but also shaped me into a well-rounded and ambitious professional.

As I thrived in my career, consistently exceeding expectations and climbing the corporate ladder, I reached the position of Vice President in a reputed company. Unfortunately, during this climb, I also encountered the harsh reality of gender discrimination. This experience, however disheartening, only served to strengthen my resolve. It wasn't just about proving myself, it was about creating a path and advocating for all women who aspire to be recognized for their professional merits and not simply their gender.

There's still a significant amount of hesitance within the industry, and this is what I, along with my dedicated team, aim to change.
